It's Monday Already?!

Hey!

It was another hot, hot, hot weekend here in MD. I feel like the work week goes so quick and then the weekend is here and before I know it, back to work I go! I can't believe this weekend is the 4th of July. You girls have anything fun planned?! I'm still trying to figure out what is going on :-)

This Saturday M and I went to a Japanese steakhouse. Talk about delicious! We haven't been since last summer so this was definitely a treat :-) We were seated with 6 other girls and 1 guy and they were so friendly! Its always great to sit with welcoming and talkative people. Makes the experience much better :-)

I'm really not sure what's going on with my hair.

Sunday, M and I went to the pool all day. It was hot out but the pool is right by the water so it felt cooler. For dinner, we went to a diner by my house that was also visited by Guy Fieri from the show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives that airs on the Food Network. The food is delicious! I mean it must be if he visited :-)

That night we watched the 2010 BET Awards. We love all kinds of music. This was actually a great awards show. Many different performers and Queen Latifah hosted and she was hilarious! Chris Brown did a Michael Jackson tribute which in my opinion, was so good, but then he broke down crying and couldn't finish singing "Man in the mirror". At first I thought it was all an act, but then the tears wouldn't stop! Did any of you catch this? BET has removed most of the videos so I'm not sure if Google will bring it up or not. Here's a link but I don't know if it'll work.

I'm Alive!!

Ok, I never thought I would miss blogging like I did this past week. I feel like a part of me was missing lol. I had not one spair second to write a post or comment though. I really do apologize.

So as you know, last week was mid-term week, which is why I was MIA. I didn't get grades back yet so I'm not sure how I did. I hate waiting though! This week is spring break. It doesn't feel like much of a break though because I still have to work and my teachers seem to think that even though you aren't in school, you should still have work to do. I have 3 papers due next week. I see another week of little to no blogging coming :-( I just want school to be over with!

I am.. While I love checking the mail, I don't always get items to get excited about. It's usually junk mail or the dreadful bills. But yesterday, I received some goodies! The lovely Brittany held a giveaway a while ago for a $50 giftcard to LuLu*s and I won! I'm not big on buying clothes online because I don't always wear the same size. Clothes are all cut differently. But I do love buying accessories on there. This is what I bought so far:

Feeling hot, hot, hot.

I finally got a pedicure this weekend! On Friday, my friend S and I decided that since it was supposed to be extra nice this weekend, we needed our toes to look good. Pedicures are so relaxing and the perfect way to welcome spring.

The color is actually pinker then the picture shows.

(Don't mind the little chip on my big toe.

Not sure how that happened.)

It's supposed to be 56 degrees tomorrow and almost 60 on Monday and Tuesday! Halle-freakin-lujah! Spring is making its way here :-) This could not make me happier. Tomorrow I think I'll clean my car and maybe take little ms. snug bug for a walk. She loves being outside.

I've reach one hundred followers. Really?! How can one hundred people actually be interested in what I have to say? This is awesome :-) Thank you all so much! You're wonderful. I'm so glad I started blogging. You know what this means though. A giveaway MUST happen! Any ideas of what you'd like to see in a giveaway? Spring & summer are coming so keep that in mind!
