It finally rained this weekend.

Hey there. Can you believe it's already Tuesday? This is a random post and I should have participated in that Miscellany Monday blog carnival thing but I'm a procrastinator. What can I say? Let's pretend this was posted yesterday k? Sounds good.

Anyways, this past weekend was pretty good.

Friday, I only worked half a day :) I then did a little shopping (pair of jeans at ON for $9 - amazing!), went and got a mani/pedi with an old friend and headed to the gym. Not much went on Friday night because the weather gods finally blessed this dry state with some much needed rain. It continued to rain on Saturday until 7 at night. Talk about a flooded front yard.

Saturday, I literally did nothing but lay in my bed and guess what? I loved being lazy. Saturday night it was so cool and breezy out from the rain that M and I decided to go downtown to an outside restaurant for beer and food :) My kind of night! It felt like springtime - I loved it.

Sunday, we went to the pool. I guess since it rained SO much, these GINORMOUS japanese beetles were out! I am not kidding you when I say huge. They were bigger then the size of the quarter! They hover to the ground and sound like bumble bees on steriods. I think they might be blind or something because they fly around aimlessly and bump into you. I am petrified of bugs, not lie (I crashed my car because of a bee - don't ask) so just imagine me with a huge beach towel wrapped around me and my head dodging bugs running to the pool (they stayed clear of the water). M was so embarassed that he decided to walk much slower than me to the pool. I was smart though because they decided to bother and land on him :) Haha.

I went to Target today with a LIST so I could get in and out without breaking the bank and what do I notice as soon as I walk in?! Target put out all new clothes and shoes. Why must you do this to me when I'm on a time restraint and you KNOW I can't look?! Thanks Target. Cutest dresses too! Guess I'll be going back in a day or so.

I think M and I are going to plan a fun trip to either Kings Dominion or Hershey Park soon. We both love roller coasters and haven't been to an amusement park in so long. Each are about 3 hours from me so we'd be staying the night. I just need a little getaway and I'll be fine :)

target obession.

Ok, am I the only one OBSESSED with Target or what?

So today, I got off work early. Instead of sticking to my new year's goal of exercising at least an hour a day, I decided to should go to Target instead. Because walking around, browsing at things I do not need, is considered to be exercise right?! Say it is please.

It's not like I wasn't there about a week ago. I'm pretty sure they didn't get anything new in. But yet, I was sucked in by my obession and gave in. The only thing i REALLY needed was mascara and face wash; yet I ended up leaving with a $43 bill.

What did I buy you ask? Nothing necessary that's for sure. Just said mention items and a few storage bins because my closet needs some major cleaning out.

 The mascara I bought is probably, in my opinion, the best mascara on the market.

This mascara just makes my lashes so long and doesn't clump at all. That's a big plus to me because if there's is one thing I will not leave the house with, it's mascara. I feel that it makes my eyes look 10x better. Do you use this mascara? Which brand do you think is best?

The face wash that I bought is one that I haven't tried yet. I already use a face wash prescribed by my dermatologist but I'm told I should wash off my make-up with something else before using the prescription one. So, since I feel like I am starting to get fine lines around my eyes and teeny tiny ones one my head (I'm 23, this should NOT be happening yet! Hopefully no one notices but me) I decided to try one that is supposed to have 7-anti aging benefits in it.
This isn't the best picture. I do apologize. MY camera has been acting goofy lately. Have you ever tried this face wash? Which do you use and think is best? I always like to try new things so do let me know :)
