Soccer Game on a Football Field kind of weekend.

This weekend, M&T Bank Stadium, where the Ravens usually play football, hosted an international soccer game. Over 70,000 people were expected to attend. This was great for Baltimore because it brought in a lot of money.

We were cheering for Inter Milan

We were tailgating right in front of the stadium :)
The people we were with came prepared with a
beer pong table and the corn hole game. So fun.

My parents took us there because they didn't want anyone drinking and driving and of course, Snuggles came. My brother thought it would be funny to put her in a seat belt to keep her safe. She didn't seem to mind it at all haha.

me and brother's gf, L. She's so sweet!

brother D and L;
how cute that they match wearing their Inter Milan shirts.

me and M

me and my not so little anymore brother.
Do we look alike at all?

the 4 of us
Why does M have a redskins koozie thing when clearly,
we're at Raven's stadium?!

 playing my vuvuzela!
They were selling them for $5
Sadly, I lost it :(

M couldn't get it to work for the life of him lol
so he was pretending :)
now everyone play :)

we were so high up in the stands!

Sunday, M and I were lazy and did nothing but go to the diner for brunch then came home and stayed in bed all day watching the movies "Are We There Yet?" and "Are We Done Yet?". Both kind of stupid but funny at the same time. Then we went back to his house for the night and watched Big Brother.

I hope you ladies had a fun weekend as well! ♥

Bathtime Adventures

Just look at that under-bite or should I say smile?
Even when she's a yucky wet nugget, she's still cute in my eyes :-)

Maybe she thinks that if she does this long enough,
she can avoid being blow dried. This went on for a
few more minutes until I was finally able to grab that
little wiggle worm.

I find her hilarious when she does this, but maybe because she's my pup.

Sorry if I bored you with this post lol :-)

Dog vs. Car Wash.

Today, Snuggles and I ventured to the car wash because my car was turning yellow from all of the pollen. She started going nuts when the water started spraying. I don't know what she's so angry about. Don't mind me snickering in the background. Here is her attacking my windows for your viewing pleasure.
Enjoy :)

It's Sunday.. so you know what that means..

It's time to learn more about me with another edition of
Getting to Know You Sundayyy! Head over to Keely's blog
and join in on the fun!

The Questions . . .

1 - Why did you start blogging?
This is actually a strange reason.. I was googling something one day and came across a blog and then started looking at more blogs, and I was hooked. I wanted one of my own to document things and it just seemed interesting and fun. I'm so glad I started though because I have "met" so many amazing people!

2 - Who's the one blog friend that you would want to meet most in "real life"?
Honestly, I would love to meet all of you! You ladies are some of the most incredible, down to earth people I've ever talked to. Everyone is so encouraging and doesn't pass judgment. And there's always atleast one person who can relate to you. Don't forget that!
But if I HAD to chose, I would probably choose these 2 ladies:
Liz because she just gets me and helped me through a pretty confusing time; plus, she's such a positive person!
Allison because we've talked about it, she seems super fun to hang out with and plus we could workout together haha.
And of course.. mrs. Kelsey Claire, only so I can indulge in an alcoholic beverage, or 2, with her while sitting on a patio in TX and act way younger then we are :-)
Gosh, I really would like to meet so many more!

3 - Why are you always concerned with losing that "extra 10 pounds" when chances are your husband/boyfriend/friends tell you that you look just fine the way you are?
I don't lose weight for any man or anyone in my life except myself. It has to do with my self confidence and how I feel about myself. I chose not to associate myself with people who pass harsh judgments like that.

4 - What's the one thing you wish guys could understand about you?
Hmm, I think I'm a pretty straight forward girl so I don't think there is anything. I tell how I feel and what I want so I'm not too hard to figure out.

5 - Tattoos. How many do you have and how many are visible when you wear your "everyday" clothes?
I don't have any tattoos. I do want one though. I would probably get Snuggles paw print. She's my child :-)

6 - What was the best year of your life and why?
Very tough question because every year has something great that happened in it. But I guess I'll choose 2005 because it was the first year I was out of high school, 18 years old, and I can say it was one of the funnest years I can remember having.

7 - Name three things you would do if you were a man for one day.
Eat WHATEVER I wanted without having to worry how many calories I consumed, sit with my hands down my pants (cause that's what they do), and have selective hearing.

8 - What's your alcoholic drink of choice that usually raises a few eyebrows?
I wouldn't say it raises eye brows but my favorite drinks are Sangria and a cold beer :-)

And now I leave you with this furball of cuteness:
Don't mind her hair - She's going to the groomer soon!

Happy Thursday.

Hope you ladies had a good St. Patty's day :-)

It was beautiful here, about 68 degrees, so I did!
Here's a pic of M and I from last night:
His shirt made me laugh - Under Lucky Charms,
it said magically delicious lol. And don't worry,
I had a bright green tank under my shirt :-)

Last night, so many people were wearing their green.
Some were decked out from head to toe and others
were even wearing their kilts. I was impressed lol.

Today was beautiful AGAIN. I could really get used to this.
It was sunny, 70, with a nice breeze. Absolutely perfect!

After M went home, Snugs and I decided to go to the car
wash and then head to the park for a walk & to play some ball.
I love this park. It has a mile trial that is marked in
10th increments, such as 1/10 of a mile to let
you know how far you have walked. I made Snugs
walk 3 miles lol. She sure can keep up though :-)

She's such a ham lol. She loves to have her pic taken.
She also loves making friends there.
There's atleast 5 dogs there at a time.

Did you enjoy your Thursday?

My poor pup.

Happy Monday everyone. Today was beautiful! Sunny and a breezy 60 degrees. Perfect for a light jacket, jeans, and flip flops 8-) The little girl I nanny for took a nice long watch. It just felt so refreshing to be outside after such a long, dreadful, and rather harsh winter. I'm hoping the snow is gone for good.

(via: here)

I was supposed to start the 2nd week of Couch to 5k but sadly, my poor little fur baby hurt her paw. Last night, I decided to give her a bath because she was out playing all day and she was dirty. As I was drying her, I noticed that the little paw pad above the big paw pad was cut and a part was hanging off. Being the crazy, caring dog mom I am, I called the vet right away and asked what I should do lol. I have no idea how she did this and she was walking normally so I don't think it hurt too bad. I think that since there has been so mnuch salt on the sidewalks from the snow, it dried her paw pads out and that's how it happened. Who knows. They said to put neosporin on it and cover it with gauze so that she can't rip the rest off. If it still looked bad today, I should bring her in. They didn't have any appointments so I'd have to be a walk in. So after work today, I picked up Snugs and off to the vet we went. We got there at 4:45 and weren't seen until 6:00. She was so good though unlike the other crazy, barking dogs lol. When we were finally seen, the vet just numbed the area and cut off the hanging part. He said it will heal by itself and she'll be back to normal in no time. She's such a trooper.

Tomorrow, I'll be starting the 2nd week of C25k. I did it 4 times last week and I really enjoyed it. I'm glad I'm sticking with it too. I feel great after I finish.

This week is a stressful one. I have 2 HUGE midterms as well as other homework. A lot of studying is in my future. Wish me luck! I need to pass them lol. Then next week is spring break! Thank goodness. Even though I'm not going anywhere, I still need a break from school. So, I may not be around to read or comment for a day or two :-(

For those of you still in school, what are you doing for your spring break? If you're not, any fun events coming up?!

Can't wait to see spring flowers.
(weheartit.com)

Happy Saturday Ladies!
I hope you're enjoying your weekend.

Today, I decided to go through my drawers and get rid of clothes I don't wear anymore/don't want. I'm going to take them to Plato's Closet (a shop here that gives you money for your gently worn clothes) and whatever they don't take, I'm going to donate. I'm pretty good at getting rid of things I don't need, use, or wear any longer. Unlike my mom who likes to keep things "just in case". If it wasn't for me, she might have things from 5 years ago that haven't been touched. If you aren't using it, give it to someone who needs it. Where do you ladies donate your un-wanted clothes to? I don't know of many places around here so I need some ideas.

Then Snuggles and I decided to take a trip to PetSmart. She needed some treats, bones, and a new baby (that's what we call her toys lol). Plus, I haven't taken her out in a while due to the weather. She was beyond excited, crying the whole way there. She loves seeing the other dogs there and sniffing around lol. I decided to make her look nice before we went though . . .

Like her little pink bow and flower bandana? lol
She's getting ready for spring time.
And why does she look like a long hair chihuahua today?
Maybe I need to get her a hair cut. She's cute though.
Do your fur-babies like going to PetSmart?

Have a great Saturday & Sunday!

Dear John.

3/5                                        4.5/5

So tonight, I was finally able to see Dear John. My friend C & I tried to go 2 weeks ago but it was sold out. I was pretty excited to see it because I have already read the book and loved it. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. If you have not seen the movie, and want to see it, stop reading now because I'm about to talk about some of the major differences that I didn't like.

Fair Warning :-)

In the book, John never gets shot. (I like that) He also visits his hometown bars and meets with old friends who he used to get in trouble with. The movie did not show that. I did not like how Allan was Tim's son and that Tim was already married. His wife has left them though. In the book, Tim is Savannah's age. John's father doesn't die a few days after the heart attack. John puts him into the nursing home, goes back to the army, then his father passes away. In the book, Savannah ends up falling for Tim where in the movie, it makes it seem like Savannah marries Tim out of pity because he has cancer. In the book, Tim does not die like he does in the movie. Tim goes into remission from his cancer and lives happily with his brother Allan and Savannah. Instead of having breakfast ready every morning for John like it is in the book, John's father prepares lasagna every Sunday. The ending in the movie was a happy ending compared to the book. John and Savannah run into reach other at a cafe. John is chaining up his bike and Savannah is having a cup of coffee when she looks out the window, sees John and then they end up hugging. The movie ends there. In the book, John decides to leave Savannah alone and let her be happy with her life with Tim and Allen. I could go on and on with the differences. I'll admit that I cried during the movie when John is reading his father a note that he wrote. This did not happen in the book. There were just too many differences for me and I personally think the book is 100% better then the movie. Maybe I shouldn't even be comparing them because one is a book and the other is a movie, but I just couldn't help it. I recommend reading the book & passing on the movie.

If you have seen the movie and read the book, you could possibly disagree with me. But it's just my opinion and we're all entitled to that. Right? :-)

If you have read the book & seen the movie,
which do YOU like better?

P.S - Snuggles was on my lap the whole time while I was typing this, so I told her that I would post her picture and let her say hi to all the other fur balls out there in blogland.
Snuggles:
"hi! Maybe 1 day mom will make me a blog and I can meet lots of new friends. Please tell your furball I said hi & would love to play with them one day!

Now she is going to do this:

Have a great night everyone!

Puppy or no puppy.

Ok, so I've REALLY been wanting to get a puppy; probably a Chihuahua. Snuggles is home alone during the day and I feel bad for her. It might seem odd, but she seems to be depressed; not wanting to play and just doesn't seem like herself. She loves other dogs and gets along great with them and I think it would really make her happy. So let's weight the pros and cons of a new puppy..

Pros:
- Snuggles would be happy
- She would get a new friend
- Snugs wouldn't be alone during the day
- The puppy is just so so cute (a long hair chihuahua)

Cons:
- The responsibility period. I can't just come and go as I please. This new pup would be depending on me for everything.
- House training isn't so easy.
- My mom wouldn't be too happy. (yes, I still live at home)

So . . . Do i put my selfishness aside and get a new friend for my little girl or should I be a responsible pet parent and do what is best for me and the puppy? Which would mean not getting the puppy until the time is right?

Help people! Opinions please :)

my little girl.

Snuggles, my little pomeranian/pekingese, came into my life two years ago. It's been happiness ever since :) She is beyond spoiled and think's she rules the house. I also believe that she thinks she's a cat. She likes to lay around my neck and drink out of the sink. It's very strange, I know. She's a stubborn little thing that likes to always get her way! There will be plenty of stories about her to come. She's quite the character.

She likes to model ;-)

She's a big Raven's fan :)
Play-offs here we come!

Just look at that underbite!
