Hi! So yesterday on my weekly run to Target (I have a problem and maybe should seek out Target Shoppers Anonymous since I tend to spend much more money there then I should) I left with a new exercise dvd.
I bought this because it came with a band and was only $10! What a deal. I've never done pilates but I've heard great things about it. Today I tried it out. At first, I thought this DVD was too easy but by the time I did every part of it, I was sweating. My favorite was the Pilates for Abs and Total Body Pilates. It's great that each part is only 10 minutes long because there's no time for you to get bored! It really makes me look forward to doing it tomorrow morning. I just wanted to add something to the cardio I do. I also do weights but I'm always up for trying new things.
I know this probably won't give me the same results as compared to doing it in a pilates studio but I figured it will help tone my body and improve my flexibility (I need a lot of help here! haha)
Have any of you ever tried this pilates DVD or any at all?
If so, did you like it and did you see results from it?
Let me know! I don't want to waste my time :-)
P.S - I'm watching one of my FAVORITEEEE movies of all time right now,
COYOTE UGLY!! (from 2000)
Tell me you remember this movie and love it as much as I do :-) haha
Hope you're having a great night!

I haven't tried any pilates.
However, I LOVE Coyote Ugly! I used to know it word for word. I believe it came out when I was a freshman in high school. I wanted to get a job, where I could dance on a bar lol
I love that movie and I will still stop to watch it any time it is on TV.
LOVE COYOTE UGLY! After watching that movie when I was like twelve, It was a "dream" of mine to be a bar tender. LOL. & That work out looks great! The quicker the better.
I love Coyote Ugly...is it sad I can quote it all... :)
LOVE Coyote Ugly! I used to rock out to the soundtrack all the time!
First off, jealous in Canada, we have no Target but when I went to visit my brother - yes I did go crazy in Target. Love it. That dvd looks great, I have only done Windsor pilates and got real bored real fast. I will have to look for that one!
Love Coyote Ugly! I was just watching it for a bit, too. :)
pilates scares the crap out of me
i'm just sayin!
p.s. I have the Coyotee ugly soundtrack, and love to belt it in the car! Download it! You'll love it!
I'm pretty sure I need to join Target Shoppers Anonynmous as well. And, I've never tried pilates, but I've always been curious about it. I may need to see if my Target has this DVD.
I have a different kit and so far, it works great.:D
Oh my gosh, that movie is such a fun one. I like singing the songs too. Haha!:D

BEAUTY. FASHION. DESIGN.
...and everything girly under the sun!
Never tried pilates... Sounds intense. :)
I used to love that movie!
I have one pilates tape and I got bored with it. Pilates reformers at the studio are AWESOME!! Nobody has one those machines at home though...so you have to take the really expensive classes! I don't think the videos are nearly as much fun and the reformer and probably do get boring.
I love pilates!! Its a real great core workout and seems to hit everything. I think some of the DVD's can be great and work. Actually, I think most of them do for some sort of time period. Going into a studio with a pilates instructor could be a little better only because they can switch it up an everything. But regardless, its a great workout, whether you are doing it by a dvd or in a class!!
And seriously, its 85 degress and not even 8:30am yet.
I have the same problem in Target! I tried pilates serveral years ago. I liked it and I have no idea why I stopped. I might have to go to a class again soon! Thanks for putting it back on my radar!
Love Coyote Ugly!
I have the same DVD! Coyote Ugly makes me get up and dance too. I LOVE that movie.
I love pilates. I've seen great results from the MTV Pilates videos. Have fun!
I've seen that dvd at Target but I've never bought it. Let us know how it works out.
Glad to know I wasn't the ONLY one watching Coyote Ugly last night.. such a guilty addiction, but so much fun!
Coyote Ugly was totally on the other day and I watched it and loved it. I have seen all the pilates stuff but haven't tried but heck if Jennifer Aniston swears by it.. It's all good with me!
Coyote Ugly is one of those movies that you can watch at any time.. love it!
I have quite a few of the 10 min solution dvds including a "Blast off Belly Fat" one which I only ever do the 10 mins pilates bit off. It makes my stomach muscles ACHE the following day for sure!
Oh snd I LOVE Coyote Ugly!
I’ve never tried pilates, but have heard good things about it. I could probably use it to work on my core and flexibility.
I need Target shoppers anonymous too and I heart the movie Coyote Ugly!
I loooove Coyote Ugly!

I have done pilates videos before...not that one though. I just am not motivated if I work out at home- I need to be in a gym being told what to do! :)
I watched some of coyote ugly last week- it was on tv when I was flipping through the channels. It was a wee different than I remembered :)
Yes yes, I LOVE Coyote Ugly! I remember being SO disappointed when I went to the CU bar in Vegas...the bartenders there didn't even come CLOSE. (I did like the shots they poured down my throat though ;) And as for pilates, I'm a yoga gal. People think it's "easier," but I couldn't disagree more!

Hi Brittany,
Are you still doing Pilates at home? Pilates in Baltimore has become a more interesting workout program with its different disciplines mat, barre, Reformer, Cadillac and many more. So hope you consider enrolling with your friends!
