To all of you wonderful mother's out there, take this day for yourself and just know how much you are appreciated. No one said being a mother would be easy, but it will be worth it.
Dear Mom,
I know I've told you this a million times or more before, but I can't thank you enough for all that you do. You are the glue that holds this family together. When I was little, I thought it was so cool to have the mom the worked at home. You let me and D have friends over during the summer to go swimming and would order pizza for our friends next door. Our house was the place to be. I remember all of the birthday parties you held for me. I felt like such a princess on those days. I couldn't have asked for a better childhood. I had everything I ever wanted and all the love I could possibly need. I know we went through a rough time when I was a bratty 13 year old who thought she knew everything and I know I deserved that slap on my mouth because I was relentless, but you stuck through that bad time with me and continued to be a supportive mom even when I was wrong. You were always and still are the PERFECT combination of mother and friend. You support me, guide me and you're a shoulder to cry on. You help me through tough times and give advice when I ask for it. Our days we spend together are so much fun. I'm so glad to have a mom who understands what 23 yr old's go through and you enjoy doing the things I do such as shopping, going out to eat, getting a glass of wine together, and working out. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if I can be HALF the mother that you are, I'll be good. You would give me and D the shirt off your back or your last penny. You're beautiful, compassionate, caring, selfless, patient, kind, strong, confident, and independent. I cannot thank you enough for being my mom. I wish everyone had a mother like you do. I'll always be your little girl.
Love always,
Brittany
I realise what life is all about.
It's hangin' on when your heart has had enough;
It's givin' more when you feel like givin' up.
I've seen the light: it's in my daughter's eyes.

I know you were on my side even when I was wrong
I know you were on my side even when I was wrong
And I love you for giving me your eyes
For staying back and watching me shine
And I didn't know if you knew, so I'm takin' this chance to say
That I had the best day with you today
For staying back and watching me shine
And I didn't know if you knew, so I'm takin' this chance to say
That I had the best day with you today
